Compare deal packaging software
The tools in this comparison come from different directions: some are built around the investor pack, some are deal-finding platforms that added brochures, and some are data or landlord platforms used alongside a pack builder. Here is each one as its own site describes it, beside Dealist's deal packaging software.

Dealist, PropertyEngine, Property Deals Insight and a spreadsheet

PropertyEngine and Property Deals Insight entries were checked on 15 October 2026 against these pages of their own sites: PropertyEngine's home, pricing and features pages, its Deal Packaging page (/features/property-reports) and its stamp duty calculator; Property Deals Insight's home, plans and pricing, and sourcers pages. “Not stated on its site” means those pages do not mention the capability either way, not that the product lacks it. Check current pricing and features with each vendor before you buy.
Spreadsheets and Canva, or deal packaging software?
You can build a good deal pack in a spreadsheet and Canva, Word or PowerPoint, and at low volume it works. The trade-off is time and error risk: every stamp duty figure, yield and return is calculated and typed by hand for every pack. Our property deal pack template lists what each pack needs, whichever way you build it.
Dealist works the numbers out with one engine, shared by its free calculators, its analyser and its packs, with stamp duty for the right nation, and builds the PDF from the analysis. Its share links count how often they are opened, and its Deal Cards keep anonymous counts of views and of taps on the WhatsApp and phone buttons, and record the details of any investor who leaves them. The Free plan includes 3 watermarked packs a month, so you can try it on a real deal before you decide.
What Dealist does not do
- It does not find deals or search the property portals.
- It keeps a list of the leads its Deal Cards capture, but it has no investor CRM, no e-signature and no post-sale investor portal.
- It does not offer training or a community.
- It stops once the deal is presented, with no tenancy, compliance or finance management after the purchase.
Our comparison of the best deal packaging software in the UK says which of the tools above describe doing each of these, and where else they are stronger than Dealist.
How to choose
The comparison judges every tool, ours included, on five criteria. Weigh them by where your own bottleneck is.
Pack quality and branding
can it produce a branded document or page an investor takes seriously?
Analysis depth
which strategies it covers, and whether the stamp duty and financing maths is there
Data and deal finding

Distribution and follow-up
getting packs to investors, knowing who engaged, and managing investors
Price
for a working solo sourcer
